Tongawood

Located near Tonganoxie, KS, just west of the Kansas Speedway, Camp Tongawood hosts science and technology programs in the Environmental Outpost. Eighty acres of woods, hills and a small pond provide opportunities for exploration. Camp Tongawood has a lodge, two permatent units, primitive camping sites, a zipline, archery range, and traverse climbing wall. A wetland area is currently being developed.

The lodge at Tongawood sleeps 20 (on the floor) and has a kitchen, showers, and bathrooms. The Mansfield Shelter and Yucca Flats areas are available for day and evening activities.
